Quick question this error.
The check engine light comes on when you start up (not everytime, but regular enough), it goes out after about 5-10 mins of driving.
Don't think it's dependant on engine being warm as comes on when you stop and go again a few mins later.
Only symptom is it struggles to idle for a minute. Revs can drop right down and nearly cut out but sorts itself out. Other than that car runs fine..
The airbag light comes on/off with the CEL, maybe that's an Impreza thing.
It's a 1997 GC8 version 4 WRX.
I read the code and showing as 22, knock sensor. I've order a knock sensor and will take the old one off to check it before it arrives.
Just wondering if anyone has had similar and am I going in the right direction replacing the knock sensor?
