Checking the Manufactured Year

Good website, might be a few sad lads on here find out their reg plate is hiding an older car?

Personally I just checked the tag on my seat belt, gives month & year of manufacture.

I checked my seat belt too Brian and its says my car is Grey in colour!

too lads down here got a 06 s204 and a 06 sti ra-r, thats what they were advertised on pistonheads.
but got them reg'd on 07 plates.
so the cars are really 06 in the uk but 07 in ireland.

I suppose the seat belts could have been changed too Andy?

@ sean - there's a type ra-r in the country? Where is that drool icon we so badly need?

Why isn't he a member?

either that or someone has given it a full bare metal respray because there isnt a spec of grey on my car anywhere (even lifted the carpets to look)

:ponder: Thats mad, mine is typical Subaru silver, but it says blue on the log book and on the car tax disc :ponder:

Was it ever crash damaged that you know of? Seat belt tensioners sometimes break once they've done the job in a crash so belt might have been changed?

he has it a few months now i think, no intrest in the club id say. it was the one from performance cars manchester.

one of the lads has a grey 04 evo mr and the paint code on it is white.
i was told the reason but cant remember.

They were probobly sold as MY 06, (model year), but registered in 07. Subaru's year start's and ends in August, don't ask me why.
