chorus ntl broadband

I've a 10 MB NTL connection here in Tallaght which is fine I think I've lost a connection once in the last 3 years but as said above if you have to ring customer service you're on a loser; just stick 'NTL customer service' into google and sit back with a big cup of coffee.
As for the wireless, my cable modem is not wireless but the current ones they give out might be, if you get one that isn't just pick up a wireless router and it's all good again.

I have the 20 MB NTL broadband and have my phone through them my digital tv. Its so easy to order online
and you even pick the date and time you want the install. Broadband is super fast.
Now the bad bit....Twice in 3 months there have been problem at there 'exchange' so that meant NO BTOADBAND,
NO PHONE, AND NO TV because they all run off the same cable. I have had to contact there call centre on these 2
occasions, and lucky me.....was no time on the phone to them.

I have NTL broadband and it is brilliant

Don;t touch perlico or any of the other chancers that just buy bulk from Eircom as its still the same slow Eircom lines and nodes

Go for the 3MB NTL line, there is a glitch in their system that means you get either 3 or 43MB connection

When the NTL guys came out to set mine up, they told me about the 43MB connection and when I test it myself it usually comes reads about 10-12MB, happy days as I'm only paying for 3MB :icon_biggrin:

Had a problem once before and aside from waiting for half an hour and getting through to India ( as you do with all these companies :icon_rolleyes: ) the guy sorted it out immediately and no problems since

All the wireless companies are hit and miss so avoid them also

Edit for spelling

All the ntl 3meg connections have been upgraded to 10 meg so thats why your getting that speed on your test.
