not really hard just very time consuming!
i put masking tape on everything i took off and wrote down on the tape where abouts it all went back
and took loads of pictures off every thing i stripped so i would'nt forget where anything went!

its great to get the bay looking good,, i think its the best part of any car its like opening up a surprise when your showing people and if it looks crap then people are a bit disappointed...

Great Job! keep it like that.

thanks lads

Is there a certain torque that the inlet manifold has to be tightened down to?
no i didnt torque the inlet manifold, i was told that i didnt need to.
should i have? :ponder:
and if so does any one know what it is?

nice job, look really smart and makes a difference. took all the bits out of my bay last year and cleaned everything down to the nuts and bolts, time consuming but worth it if you have the time.

it should tightened to 25 n.m

every bolt connected to a subaru block or head will have a torque setting as its a alloy block, you can ring threads easy enough
