Petrolheads
Hi all, I have struggled with resizing images to finally post up.
I’m near certain the block has had no work done.
I also have a set of cosworth head gaskets that I don’t have a photo of also for sale.

1500 for the lot, possibly not as noticeable is the new set of king race bearings, don’t mind the head bolts as they are used

Not at all, I was having trouble resizing them on a couple different apps, so a couple times over the last few days o just gave up 😂

That’s a shot of the cylinders, you’re more than welcome to an inspection, I think that might be oil leaking down the wall, I’m hoping anyway as I’d not opened the cling film at any stage before taking the photos and I only got to take them before shooting off again.
I’ve had it sitting in the press a few years anyway at this stage 👍🏻

So, forgive my ignorance...a couple of questions if I may.
What is needed to be done with this block to have it spot on?
Like does it have to be stripped and new bearings inserted?
Would 06 legacy heads work with this block, like water and oil channels etc line up or no?
Sorry for the questions and if you don't know, that's no problem.
Cheers
Ben

I’m not sure about how to make it work in a legacy, I’m pretty sure it needs v2 sti heads to work and the wiring loom to go with that, as far as the bores go, you would probably need to have that assessed by a mechanic to see if any honing would need to be done, it would probably only need that if there’s any scoring inside the bores, after that you would need to check the condition of the pistons or upgrade to a better stronger set, that would be my own way to go about it as the block is mainly sought after for bigger power.

Do a little research online to see how compatible it would be for your car and go from there would be my advice 👍🏻
