whats the gearbox oil level like???
i'd say its in the box lad!!!
oil level is fine, changing the box and diff anyway so just want to know is it a clutch problem....
shes booked in for a check up 2mw so ill just have to wait and see.....
cheers for all the feedback and pms lads  :icon_pray:

it could be the release bearing on the way out i've seen it a fair bit in the berlingos and c5's it starts getting noisy and keeps getting worse until it collapses totally

I get this sometimes also ,i have an exedy clutch ,mine only does it if im stopped on a hill or something and go to take off.
im convinced its in the clutch also ,i get a burning smell when it does happen (not a clutch smell).

Sounds like your flywheel needs to be skimmed. Common enough problem I believe

got the car back last night from my mechanic and its the release bearing in the clutch acting up.....

Change the lot together, false economy to take clutch out to replace just 1 part.

Give Ali Burrows a call, from what I hear he's untouchable for the price on his exedy clutches
