Clutch refurb

Anyone ever hear of a place called Murfit in finglas that refurb clutch plates ? If so any feedback ?
Friend of mine has a HKS clutch plate off an EVO 7 and the guy quoted him € 75 to re line it ? Anyone ever used them before ? :dontknow:
 
could it ever be as good as it was new?
never heard of a clutch being refurbished but would be interested to hear results
 
I know lads skim the fly wheel but that can lead to clutch gudder. As far as doing the clutch itself never heard of it. :dontknow:

i've used him for nearly ten years for clutches...
a sound man and very honest....
thats where i buy all of my clutch kits!!!!

Cheers lads, i 've seen clutches for lorrys and plant done before, just didn't know anyone could do them for high performance applications :smile:

I also never heard off a worn clutch been refurbished , could save us all a few ?????'s :icon_grin: :icon_grin:


So is it as good as new or is it more like those magic lead pellets that turn 95ron into race fuel :hammerhead: :hammerhead:

Only used them for trucks and light commercials Niall never a high performance car one done...
they do exchanges for standard cars and then refurb them and sell them again.
never had a problem with any they did for us also got a few ceramic paddle ones from them...
