I think it's a loophole to avoid paying gift tax. He did say it was at a good price!!. Derek Bell had to do the same with a Porsche the factory gave him. Glad to hear that the 22B was his favourite. He'll be sadly missed. :-(

Realistically between 18 and 22k Stg. depending on condition. Lower end usually Catg D damaged and repaired. Type UK's are fetching the upper end of the price range. In Japan their value has recently shot up. I know Mick Spec C had priced a few there before he bought the new car.
