colour to get wheels sprayed?????

hi lads, planning on getting my alloys powder coated next week or week after and just interested in any ideas on what colour to get em sprayed??

I was thinking black but theres a hell of a lot of black wheels about now so not sure, white is a bit too common and wouldnt want that. Gold is nice but i want something a bit different. I was thinking a dark blue maybe???

the car is a bl5 and is a dark blue almost navy, and the alloys are 17 inch, nothing particularly special just 5 spokes, dont have any pics of my car yet cause ive no camera but ill try get some pics up of it and my wheels after the weekend if there are any opinions.

Id even consider buying a new(second hand) set of 18's if there were some cool ones available cheap, or swap my wheels and id put some cash to it. Want to get em powder coated but dont know if it would look out of place as they are quite plain.

Its all a matter of taste , we really need to see a picture of the wheel ... and car for that matter ...

yea thats the car colour, and the first and second last pics look about the same as the ones i have. The first picture looks exactly like my car in fact minus the back spoiler.Hope my car doesnt end up looking like the last picture though while i own it :subaru:

i wouldnt go with that blue, but each to their own i suppose. what a bout a nice dark anthracite/grey or something?

yea maybe man, i want something that stands out a bit from the crowd though but not too much and doesnt ruin the look of the car, might see if yer man can give a colour chart or something.

I like gold but its on half of the scoobys you see and i want something a bit different, ill have a think


also anyone know any nice looking 18's going cheap if this doesnt work out for me, especially someone who's willing to part trade with mine?
 
I relly think doing the spokes anthracite, an having a polished rim would look the business.n Ya might find it hard for someone to swap back to standard rims. Id try pick up a second hand set then sell yours on after.

Can rims be polished and then painted/ powder coated?

Been thinking of doin that to my superleggeras, something different
 
how about getting the paint code and get matching paint for the wheels?
I'd go Dark grey/antracite that would look well with the rear window tints!
Newage brembos front and rear make all wheels look gorgeous :thumbsup:
