compressor surge???

first off a big thank you to BazGF8 for sorting me out wit the turbo timer todasy and for hving a look at my boost issues


we figured out that my car was running a 3 port solenoid but seemed to be plumbed in arseways, he even rang me after to tell me he found the correct plumbing

now the problem i have is this, now that i have the whole lot done as it should be, i seem to still be getting the same boost, 0.6 bar with a spike to 0.8 but its fairly cold and foggy out here tonight so that may explain the spike)

I also think that im getting compressor surge now were i didnt beforehand, its only on partial throttle really and around the 0.4-0.5 mark on the gauge throught the gears, it sounds very like this


im quite worried as i dont want to stuff up my turbo and i can only assume its since the lines were rerouted as it wasnt there at all before...... i dont think its wastegate flutter

any help would be great

i get that aswell with my vf36, only really when in higher gears and then trying to come on boost, mines a lot louder though with the fmic though. i think its something that can be mapped out though. i must get it checked out
 
Since I bought the car, only does it in 5th but mostly 6th if putting the foot down flat, off boost and too early in the rev range, so I just don't do that, noise coming back through induction kit I thought. If you build boost gently in 5th or 6th it doesn't happen. Never happens other gears.
 
If it only partial throttle its that heap of shite of a dump valve you have on it
