Re: Cork 20 2009 3rd - 4th Oct

Shud be goin 2 tis, weather permitting. Ya scoobydo, Donnelly only has to finished in top 5 r 6 i think. Only thing about dat is, mistakes happen when ur not flat out. Dere's also a couple of group B cars goin as well,so shud make it interesting.

Re: Cork 20 2009 3rd - 4th Oct

Donnellys car i think could let him down, :dontknow:. He should go back to the corolla :icon_headbang:, he could make up some time with her on kumos in the wet. Sad to say but the S12 never suited him either. Prefer to get a slap of a dead dog than see machale win :angry1:

Re: Cork 20 2009 3rd - 4th Oct

mchale is just a over rated waste of a rally driver and car would hate to see him win top seed for what put donnelly back in the corolla and let him shine he was class in it

Re: Cork 20 2009 3rd - 4th Oct

Savage weekend!!it was a great success for the Cork Motor Club who had such little budget to play with.the stages were fast, tight and twisty and there was fu*k all travelling between stages.such a pitty that Mc Carthy and Gass didnt finish day 1 but Mc Hale and Donnelly were on top form all weekend.the group B boys were excellent.i was in an unreal convoy today from Rathcormac to Final Control...Metro 6R4,Legacy RS,Mk2 escort,Open Manta, ME  , Mc Hale behind me,Donnelly behind him and about 50 other rally cars more :icon_headbang:

Anyone see the FUBARU? (MK2 escort with scooby engine,4WD painted scooby blue with gold wheels) crazy car.

Ill upload loads of pics soon...

Nice pics Dave  had a great day at it, nice mk2 battle between Phil Collins and Barry Meade was good to watch  A friend of mine was co-driving in the fubaru for the weekend, he said the car had absolutely no power all weekend but that was down to them blowing the turbo while testing thursday and then had to use a standard one for the rally and the anti-lag couldnt be used on it.
