thanks sean,
but brian had his engine out when it was in sti tuning....
piece of piss with engine out i reckon!!!

I think its just a matter of getting under the car a dropping the oil out as you would for an oil change, then remove the sump itself by loosening the small bolts that are around its edges.
Im not 100% from here but i think once you've the sump off you sit the baffle into it and refit sump to car.
You may need to replace the sump gasket before refitting

thanks matt,
did the oil and filter today!!!
i had a look today but the dipstick pipe wouldnt come off plus i think the headers might have to be removed to drop the sump!!!!

dave fitted mine, maybe he'll let ya know what needs to be done. Apparently they are made for the ej25 so there is some small modifications to do to fit to the ej20.

Someone posted this on scoobynet.

1. disconnect pipework etc to enable to raise engine up 3 inches
2. remove headers
3. apply plasters from wounds incurred removing headers
4. remove sump bolts
5. wonder why the sump wont come off
6. remove pickup pipe
7. pick up sump that fell on floor
8. clean up all pieces
9. remove windage tray
10. apply threebond to the cossie sump baffle
11. wonder where the rubber gasket thingy goes
12. clear up threebond spillage and wonder how you are going to remove threebond from clothing
13. test fit baffle
14. refit pickup pipe
15. undo pickup pipe because you forgot to put the sump half on first
16. wipe up threebond mess
17. wonder why you started it in the first place on your own as you need three sets of hands to hold, the sump, the tray and the pick up pipe.
18. figure out a hands free way of fitting
19. finally get it sorted.

All in all not a bad job.

Tip - don't do it alone.

Cant really see the point of this for road use unless you're doing loadsa doghnuts, doing track days, or have some unreal performance that lets you corner/accelerate/brake savagely and starve the oil??
Correct me if im wrong, but seems like it wouldnt be worth the money and hassle
Sounds nice tho!!!
