Courier Companies

Lads I've sourced a set of wheels up north, Glengormley to be exact. They're 2nd hand as they're not made anymore afaik & getting them at a decent price.

Problem is its gonna take 6 or 7 hours return trip & 75-80 yoyo on fuel & toll charges to head up & back to collect them.

Does anyone know a cheap courier company that they could recommend, might end up saving me time & money in the long run to get them couriered down.

Cheers,
Brian.

Cheers for the offer Mark, not sure if thats gonna be a runner.

The lad I'm buying off was supposed to bring them down to Dublin for me, his girlfriend is down here but he's now decided he can't or won't fit them in his car so I'm guessing I'll have to collect from his house.

Brian, PM me which part of Dublin you are from and where the wheels are (Post code). I will get a price for you off the guys I use for shipping :)

I wouldn't be in the Leggy...Land Rover on Satans fuel :icon_biggrin:

And I would do it on one tank of fuel...don't forget I did the charity drive (over 450km) on one tank :icon_biggrin: Leggy has a bigger tank

Legacy wouldn't even use a full tank to get up their. I only used jusat over half tank going to that Scoobfest show with ScoobyIreland, and Junction 1 is about 20 mins further on.

If your stuck Brian give me a shout and i'll head up. I'm in Drogheda so not that far from the border.

Ok Brian, I'll do it for free...I'm bored off my tree at home and need something to do to waste a day!

I knew a bit of hard bargaining would get ya

Seriously though I wouldn't dream of sending you all the way up there for nothing. I've already sent a pm to yer man on scoobyireland but if thats a non-runner you're more than welcome to go for them. And as long as you can cover your costs, toll bridges, fuel etc I'm happy with paying you 50 quid.

No bother Brian, sure let me know tomorrow at the meet. 50 is loads to cover that! I have a very light foot when I need to, I've been squeezing 420 - 450 out a tank these days!!

No bother Mark, I'm sure it'll all fit in the Leggy, who needs rear passenger seats or a spare wheel anyway  Need anything for the baby while i'm at it?
