cv joint for bl5 legacy

as above i am looking for drivers side cv joint for my legacy
an anyone tell me where to get one,i got a quote from carroll and roche €400 as they dont sell them seperate.
haven got ,,,,400 to spend at the moment as the missus is just about to pop so just looking for a cheap one
 
I'm surprised about that, i picked up a cv join from my local subaru in sligo and twas half that price......

CV joint couldnt be more than €100 to buy. was that a fitted price? are they saying they cant sell 1 Nº joint?????
 
The CV joint comes with the boot too so the gearbox side couldn't be more that €15. get a quote from a local type mechanic for changing it. if he will do it for €100 you save €200 which should cover my consultancy free :lol: :lol:
