Yea I basically have a the HKS back box diff back--and a striaght pipe up to where the primary and secondary meet and go into one if you know what i mean :ponder:..so will the 2.5" be alrite?

Just want no cat at all to hear the full noise of the EJ20 :icon_lol: + more back fires always help :smokin:
 
Have a look under the car and see does it narrow anywhere or get a vernier gauge on the pipe to check. If you are still running standard downpipes then I really coubt its a 3" centre and backbox :thumbsup:
 
Yea man thats not a bad idea. It will be a bit down the line but we should try and get a few in on it and see if they would give us a discount.

I get pops and bangs out the exhaust alright, I've no idea if any flame is visible (no1's ever said it to me anyway)... I get most of mine though because the car is overfuelling badly (soon to be corrected with a tweak map)...

But if you want pops and bangs, then fit a dump valve with full decat. When the engine dumps the air to atmosphere, the car will overfuel for a second when you change gear or on trottle let off and the unburnt fuel will then ignite and you will get loud pops and bangs.. You can also ask the mapper to help with this as sometimes they can be mapped in and this will help as well obviously :thumbsup:

Have a Hks SSQV on her anyway so will be flying when I get it, it back fires like a mad yoke (when you go to 4,000 in second and let the foot of the gass,two lound bangs!!) anyway so I cant wait to heat what its like when this gets done and get him to map it a bit rich and be like a lil rocket with the flames :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:
