De Cat downpipe Vs 100cel sports Cat

Just wondering if there is much difference in power and noise between a full Decat down pipe and a 100cel sports cat?
I was in a Type R with full Decat at the weekend and want the extra power. And wouldnt mind some extra noise as my HKS Silent Hi power is pretty Silent.
I like the sound of the sports cat ao i dont need to swap for the nct.
Hayward and scott say their sports cat only produces 2hp less than a full decat, but it costs about £550 i think.
Anybody seen or heard the differences in different down pipes?

I've a 100 cell sports cat in mine and AI said that it would have made much difference to BHP figures to have had a de-cat.

Type25 also use 100 cell sports cats to pass MOT.

My car passes NCT no problem.

@Eric, good stuff. 100cel sports cat sounds the way to go.
Only problem is prices seem to range from £250 to £550 plus the map tweak too.
Savage difference in the Type R though. My car felt slow after being in a Decatted one :thumbsup:
