The reason I ask is I have high end desktop cost me around the 4000 mark last year I added a few bits
But I need the room for the baby now, so I brought my self a xps m1730 from dell should be here next week
But I'm in two minds now about selling the other one. I never had a laptop before so don't know what to think. I'm going to have to sell the desktop but feel I'm loseing out on some thing......

I have both, in the market for a new desktop though, was gonna build my own but how much you lookin for? make, model, spec, etc?

personally prefer the desktop, hate laptop mousepads and having to constantly adjust the angle of the screen if you move an inch annoys me..

2 custom made pc's and 1 Lenovo laptop. You may not get anything near the 4 grand mark for your desktop. It must be some monster of a desktop if it cost you 4 grand! does it wash the dishes for ya and walk the dog too?!!! Only benefit of the laptop is its portability. desktops are a lot more customisable and cheaper

It's a dell 9200. 19" TFT screen 500gig hd, 4gb ram, geforce grafix card, physix grafix card , sound blaster card with 5.1 souround sound and bass box , wifi card , lots of programs , Nero , paint shop , lots of DVD copying software , word , vista , can run 32bit and 64bit os, all in one printer, desk , webcam. Custom side panal with built in LEDs two DVD rw burner drives , card readers , wireless mouse and a media keyboard . All data removed sept programs and can reg in new owners name. Sure there's more I'm forgetting .
1000euro like new and treated like a baby .
