First post here so go azy.
I have a 2009 Impreza hatch diesel. Bought it with the usual snapped crank. Sourced a euro5 engine and got it fitted.
It will only boost sometimes. I'm thinking sticky vanes.
I will sort that eventually but I went to get the DPF out and remapped. Took it to a very reputable mapper in Waterford.
He couldn't get at the ECU. He tried 3 different tools he said. Says it's like somebody's been there before and has locked it. He can communicate with it but not edit files is my understanding.
Does anybody know the car? It's 09 D 19828.
It's got a wanky Clifford alarm too if that helps identifies.
Any info on it would be helpful or could somebody advise what could be done to access the ECU.
