diff and gearbox oil

hi lads need to change the oil in the rear diff and gearbox on my type r wats the best oil to use for never changed it since i got the car the previous owner told me he used mobil all around wat grade is needed as most of you will know the type r has diff control and quick shift gearbox so i say the grades wil be different any help would be great

what ever make you like really, motul and mobil are very good

Use millers myself 75w 90. and Ls 75w 90 in Diff

I just bought Motul Gear 300 LS (limited slip) 75W90 for my Type-R as well.

I understand there is a normal version of the above - Motul Gear 300 75w90 for non-LSD diffs?
Anyone knows what's the difference really and what could have happened if you'd put the normal non-lsd oil to R180 Type-R rear diff?

If you put normal gearbox oil in lsd its not too bad i dont think, lsd specific oil is ment for non syncromesh gears, so you dont want to be putting that in your gearbox

so do i need motul 300 ls for the diff and jus 75w90 for the box
