sittin here in the office at 3.30 am doin a bit of research on stuff for me garden as im landscaping the back garden when i notice on the camera some funny lights.......took me a second or two to cop on that its the lights off mobile phones and theres 3 or 4 little fcuks at me car. at first i thought it was just some little muppets on the way back from the pub so i open the door and they scarper.by the time i get me jocks on they were well gone. the really shitty part is they wernt even after the car they went after the stereo and even worse they tried to get the sat nav screen which doesnt work. so they smashed the window and ripped the centre console apart to get something that doesnt work. to say im pissed is an understatement. the fcukin idiots didnt manage to see the camera case full of cds in the foot well or the receiver in the glove box.
so lads im in bad need of a drivers door glass and a centre console facia. anyone know where i might get my hands on these.

Sorry to hear that Mick! I think it was B4_RSK that had the crashed one. Give the scrap yards a shot aswel. With so many of them on the roads now there might be some crashed ones lying about somewhere! :thumbsup:
 
i sent b4rsk a message but no reply yet......prob on the beer last nite :guinness:........which is where i should have been.
i got onto carrol and roach and they were lookin for 320 euro and they dont have one in stock. so i got onto s&b where i bought the car and they gave me the number of a guy and he has one........100 euro and my mate is shootin over in his dc5 to pick it up and we'll have a go at fittin it. waitin for the csi to turn up and lift some prints then i can get in and start puttin it back together.

Glad to see you got the window sorted but if
CSI don't turn up you could always ring the ERU they have a guaranteed
response time of 48hrs. :roll:

no that was some other poor lad........i have them on the dvr so ill try dowmload it onto the pc and put it up on youtube

well i got the new glass in......holy christ what a job. had to take the pasenger side apart to see how the driver side should be assembled. i allways wondered why the lads in the garage i worked in hated doin window glasses and regulators, now i know why. ive removed the piece of the sat nav that they tried to get and ive placed it on the piller outside the house so if they come back they can just take it.......the bastards. the dash facia went back pretty much ok but i reckon a few of the clips a fooked and if it starts rattling ill be on the lookout for one.

Seems to be more and more these days. Something needs to be done about it :angry:
