divorced waste on the downpipe

Dump to atmosphere valves can give incorrect air flow readings and cause underfuelling, I was never a fan of aftermarket dump valves unless they are the recirculating type.
 
Sound advice, I see the logic,
but I don't see the need to analyse all the gases from the motor, surely the gases abused in the waste gate have been altered, i.e. polarized/ionized therefore the flow would be faster for this gas, thus I think it would be better to exhaust this contaminated waste to atmosphere asap, ??

Think the two of yous are talking about different things, you are on about dumpvalves and im not sure but i think Feakle is on about a screamer pipe, or something on exhaust side of things??
When i first read his heading i though he had been divorced over a downpipe.. wtf
