Drive (lancia porn)

                      :probably on of the best videos i.v watched in a long long time thanks ciaran  i think its sad when he says no one remembers lancia for what they achieved in rallying , they do and have fans everywhere but the problem lies with the cars or lack of them.
when lancia stopped making
cars in the the late 90 there was nothing to bring peoples memories back of them when you would see one passing . if subaru stopped making cars today after 15-20 years it would be the same way, the brand would die and like lancia all people who didnt know much about them would say is ye there were a good car but the engines were very soft like chocolate in them , like the lancia rust issue .

lancias are always going to be thin on the ground because of there numbers sold and (also rust :shhh:) but i wish they were remembered with a bit more passion for what they achived in world rallying . i'm probably a bit biased but how cool would a 037 or an integrale look passing you on the street as you stare at it going by .
thanks ciaran

Your welcome joe well made points above I hate the word but awesome is the only one to describe those lads and the current gen of young fella already got no clue about subarus and there rally domination to worried about getting orange wheels for there stupid fixie bikes and what skinny jeans they will buy next :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

For me part of the reason for loving cars is a a young fella watching with my dad gt4 s subarus and cosworths lighting up the night Forrest stages in the uk disks glowing hot anti lag banging away shurly the demise of lancia building cars like below got some of us into subaru

Check out this vid posted it before Harry (evo editor ) evo lancia oh yes indeed

Great video.

Did anyone notice how similar the rear suspension setup is to an Impreza ?

its fairly similar barry even the rear diff carrier is not that far off in terms of design. the prop shaft goes through the fuel tank which is probably not the best design ever

its open on the top but theres only 40mm of clearance all round but sure all ya need is a 1mm

if only parts were as easily got :icon_sad: :icon_sad: . parts are the biggest thing to owning 1 you either pay through the nose or do with out no other way :facepalm.

It's not that bad joe

I got all my stuff for mine from the local motor factors and they all came in fiat bags and boxes lol!!

Ye but they were probley service parts johnny.try getting a headlight or rear diff seals or the fuel tank straps there just not out there in any numbers to meet demand

Yes your right about them few parts alrights

The tank straps you can't get but I got a set made for me with galvinised steel
