Driving with NCT out

Hey lads

So the NCT runs out at the end of Feb and last night I went to book it in online and the EARLIEST I could get in was the 29th of March

What's the gardas stance on this? As I WILL be driving without NCT for a month

Just checking as I know the UK is a points , fine and seizure of the car

once you have it booked in and you have your booking sheet with you your fine.

If you phone in to book your NCT they will offer you a cancellation booking,where you will be texted at the next available slot.It would be only a short wait then.

not always the case you can still get a fine for it and i had it happen to me even with the booking form, i argued with them to the point of getting pulled out of the car, so id try get a different date for a different center if you can some Guards can be pricks and other can be no bother at all
