i heard about that alright i didn have the car then so it wansn me  that race went ahead and at the time the colt had no 2nd gear so going from 1dt to 3rd racing ant that good!!! and how many people do a standing start with a 4wd car V a fwd i think the 4 wheels might get away faster then a 2 wd car:lol:

Re: Evo 3 colt for sale

Awh your definitely right there but they did a rolling start and a stop start and they both bet it, but the last time I checked a DC5 was Fwd, and I thought I heard someone say that your yoke was 4wd! Anyway best of luck with it and hope you get it moved on.
You looking for a scooby next? go on man you know you want one! :subaru:

Re: Evo 3 colt for sale

See in Your Donedeal add it blows scoobies off the road  ,
it obviously never came across mine or any good ones then LAD, stupidest add i ever seen, evo 3s werent that quick and were a soft engine, evo3 are a very light car so the gain of putting it in a colt is fok all, sure the colts lightness and only benefit is gone when you put the 4wd running gear into it..
:thumbsup:rebuild her and id say few of us here would be glad to give you a run LAD

Re: Evo 3 colt for sale

:icon_nana:Maybe the justys 4spd gearbox was fokd aswell and had to go straight from 1st to 4th :dontknow:

SOLD :icon_nana: :icon_nana: :icon_nana:

But i no the fella i sold it 2 so ill keep you in mind when he has it fixed up

Id say she could be another ESB pole climbing candidate alright :wall:
IF it was smoking scoobys, why would you want to sell it and want to buy a scooby :ponder2: and after putting that shite up on Done deal and all over the place to then come on to a scooby forum and try sell it :cuckoo: more than the bearings in car need looking at i think
Guys i know built one of these about 4 or 5 years ago and it was nothing spectacular.

probably would blow scoobys off the road yeah if its getting towed by a 747.a front wheel drive colt with a evo engine, thats like having a plugged in toaster in the bath not gonna end good.

Tink it wa a 4wd Paul, real handy to do the conversion if you start off with a 4wd colt, everything fits, only thing that isnt straight fit is the prop carrier, think the evo one is in a different position on shaft, thats what i was saying, the evo 3 is a light car any way, and when you go and have all 4wd stuff in colt i cant see there been much difference in the weight anymore

Very rude lads!
If some one buys a car with "1.6 on the log" then they have the choice to do it properly, It's upto the origional importer to fill out log book details,
Your comments above are out of order in someone else's for sale thread!
He is also a scooby owner, and a potential paying club member!
