E5 finally in cork

Just typed up a response to find Duffman had beaten me to it, and descibed it so much better too :lol:

The only reason I didn't fit a sports cat this time is realistically I'd need to tweak my map with a sports cat fitted but if you (nodge) are gonna get a remap at the same time then sports cat is deffo the way forward.
 
Cheers for that Johnny. That's more in line with what I had thought (based on a basic knowledge of where everything fits together). So that means for someone like me who'd be paying to have this work done it wouldn't be long before you'd shelled out the difference in cost to the local mechanic instead!


Sports cats seem to be very popular in the UK, from the little amount of reading I've done?? Must have a better look into it...
 
sports cat is the way forward if the nct comes in every year

as its the best of both worlds, you get the power and no hasel taken the down pipe off every year.

in the uk they do road side mot's so if you failed for no cat over there ,they would take the car of you!
