Not sure if you're aware of it guys, but ALL maxol stations around the country have the E5 instead of normal PB95. It's been like that since September :ponder2:

saw that alright but had some doubts that "All" stations had it, i could be wrong but i've a feeling they were in the middle of rolling it out when they said the above.

Went over to westside after the tynagh meet and had to give up and call in to Topaz because the traffic was mental.

Speaking of E5, I was in Tipp yesterday\today and I see Maxol in Monard is selling E5 for 138.9c\litre. (Saw a legacy tourer filling up there too.) Regular petrol in Galway can be up to 145.9c\litre. I'll have to move south!

The maxol in Lower Salthill has e5 too. Its way handier than westside coz traffic is nearly always crap out there.

Good man, Peadar! I'll give that a go. Westside was always fairly bad for traffic, day or night, but since they started building those bus lanes...... :wall:

went into maxol on cork road in waterford today and way hay they have it in!!

was on fumes looking for the stuff, filled it up to the brim!

Just to let you guys know Topaz has 5% bioethanol in there petrol and have had for some time they just didn't make a big deal out of it like Maxol did advertising it as "E5" so weather you get Topaz or Maxol E5 either has the same octane rating and personally id worry about the consistency of the E5 at some Maxol stations which wouldn't be very busy so the fuel might be sitting in tanks for some time. Pity their knocking E85 on the head that stuff works very well once you upgrade your injectors and tune your car for it.
