My pads ran out so decided to order and try the new EBC blue stuffs.

I've read great reviews around the net including scoobynet. Apparently after they had the build compound changed last July, the EBC range of pads has significantly improved!
Officially It's a track use only pad, although its bite from cold is fantastic and makes it perfectly safe for street use, just too good to pass the (friction limiting) european R 90 regulations.

Anyone tested them before? what do you think?
I've heard opinions they outperform Ferodo DS2500 or Pagid's blue on track

Can't wait to put my hands (or foot :icon_biggrin:) on them and give'em a proper test. :icon_twisted:

I use these now in the wagon always used yellow stuff and just decided to try them and where the yellow failed after 5 to 6 hard laps of mondello there were still fine after 10 to 12 laps and probably would have lasted more but I came in out of sympathy for the car havin said that with grooved discs and hard use they wear quickly but an excellent pad would defo recommend them

mark b4rsk also uses them heard great things from these blue stuffs. ferodo ds2500 are excellent pad for road and track. have a set on the bugeye never let me down so far

Where did you buy yours WAGON DEC?

I heard that there are a few places in the UK that offer the new compound NDX.. Aztec performance, EBC direct.
The others may still sell the old version of EBC pads which are not so good... :ponder2:

Have these on the leggy, as chris pointed out, great bite from cold, I get mine from camskill, €115 delivered, can't go wrong!! :icon_biggrin:

Just got reply from Andy Freeman on Scoobynet

you must state NDX after the number, when the pads come they will have this on the box and can be also easily confirmed as they have the VEE grooves in where the old ones just have slots

Try www.brakes4u.co.uk or Godspeed or Aztec, they are authorised vendors

Cheers

It turns out not everyone has them yet in offer guys! camskill seems to have the old ones in stock, not sure about the others, anyway the NDX letters should be behind the numbers..

A bit of update..

The pads fitted 2 weeks ago and fully bedded now.

I'm truly amazed how they perform.. Bite from cold is sharp and firm.
They're simply Excellent.. :icon_pray:

Don't know how they go on track yet but I'm sure they're great too.. Fully recommended guys!

When buying, make sure you will get the NDX type of pads!
