The correct size for be5 or bh5 is 294mm

Most motor factors have them listed wrong . 277mm is the non turbo cars

Maybe some earlier legacy b4's

Any Sti with 4 pots these will not fit

Ah thanks baz. The stock discs were the correct size with 294mm so I'm presuming the previous owner(s) didn't check the correct size when buying these ebc discs..

Dave, because the pads were not fully on the discs and that's not proper. Explains why I had excessive brake dust and would not have had the full braking power.

Yes I remember having a heated argument on another site with The last owner and even provided proof that 277mm was the incorrect size (trying to help not cause offence etc )and low and behold he went ahead and ordered them .

haha well there you go. I never spotted this until now when I went to change my pads and paint the calipers.. I noticed the old pads were only half worn on the surface and had a huge ridge. then kinda dawned on me what the problem was. I had excessive brake dust too but just put it down to the fact these were drilled and grooved (typically give off more brake dust than normal discs). luckily I had gotten the original discs with the car which are in fine cond.

have you a link to the thread in question?
