I have a Ej 2.2 motor in a vw beetle that i am putting back to standard so i am thinking of sellin the motor on. It has a very small non standard exhaust fitted to it so its very loud :icon_omg: because of this the car has not been driven much, but the motor sounds very tight and has loads of power. its a non turbo and has a K&N filter on it. I have no idea what year it is but as i said it can be heard runnin before i take it out, what sort of money can i get for this engine :iamwithstupid: thanks lads.
 
I think there are different type's of EJ22 blocks. I think its the EJ22T that is the most sought after block but could be wrong. Somebody else will be able to confirm or set you straight :thumbsup:
 
I'm gonna guess and say its a non turbo ej22 from a UK BH legacy...probably worth the same in scrap.

That wasn't mean't too be smart but they are worth fcuk all unless someone is specifically looking for one...135bhp from a single cam 2.2 not one of subarus finest moments
