hey everyone....

name is rob and im from limerick... have had a few scoobs in my time and missed my last one when i sold it and said i have to get another....

and yesterday i took the plunge again.... bought a 98 uk turbo.... bog standard from day 1

scoobyjoe told me bout the site..... so said id join... will be paying membership before month is out :thumbsup:

anyway here a few pics of her now......

have a few plans for her but it will be a while before i have it the way i want it

think i remember that car from years ago , 555 reg rings a bell for a car that was new to a garage owner in Shanagolden near Foynes

Eds sister Tina would be friends with an aunty of mine Joe , my grand parents live down there and remember when Ed got the car , was mad about the car at the time , most likely why i got into the scoobs !
 
Hey Rob.. welcome to the club. :subaru:

Nice car... Seen it on Donedeal.

My 1st Subaru was a MY98 555GT. There a great car with the nicer interior than a standard UK Impreza. :thumbsup:

Mine had quad lamps and a centre pod with Graham Goode gauges added by the previous owner... but was otherwise standard.

They where the Irish equivalent of the UK Terzo model and came with Alcantera seats, the obvious 555GT badges and a few other bits. Mine had colour coded plastics but I don't think that was standard and may have been an optional extra. There aren't many in Ireland AFAIK... less then 10 where sold here I was told.
