Well lads 03 1.6 petrol bugeye
Was coming up home and the engine light came on and flashed for about a minute then went off again and hasn't come on since

To be honest Drive it on until it comes on and stays on , then get the codes read, there is a way to read codes if you search Google you should find it .

flashing engine light is a misfire usually, did you notice any difference in how it was driving while it was flashing?

That just a simple fix like plugs leads etc

id wait until it's gotten worse or happening more often, could've just been a hiccup or bad fuel
