Rebuilding my Ej20 in my v limited, just wondering are there any good suppliers around looking for bottom end and head set, uprated oil pump, competition bearings, rings, timing belt kit and water pump and clutch. Also was looking at cometic head gaskets there must be a dozen thicknesses, does any one have a suggestion as to what thickness of gasket should be used or what the standard thickness is? thaks in advance for any help.

you will need to work out how much was skimmed of heads and block casings to be somewat accurate providing heads have never been skimmed before.

Although to be 100% it be the piston cc/ head valve chamber cc /piston deck height/ gasket compressed thickness etc etc...
