Read somewhere before it was to do with the big A bomb that was dropped years ago! No go area.

Similar spot in Cyprus in famagusta where the Turks invaded back in the day.
Everything is still in the showrooms from the day the Greek Cypriots ran for their lives from the Turks.
It's a no go zone since then protected by un or something.
Went for a look last time I was there and can't get near it.
