Evo 5 v b4

Well lads,

a mate of mine bought an evo 5 during the week. went for a spin with him an couldn't believe the power an speed it had. :shock2: i'm looking at gettin a b4 in the summer :icon_grin: an am just wondering would there be much difference in the power betwen the two?! :ponder2: i know evo's are a different style car to the b4 an are to compete with the wrx an sti's. would love an impreza but the insurance quotes i got were crazy! :hammerhead:
 
There was a smiliar thread not so long ago with B4 Vs Sti, I'd say that the Evo would have a lower top speed than the B4 but would beet you on acceleration. My friend has an Evo 5 too and its quicker than mine but i have too say as dagnut said its not much in the difference, but its limited so i can't give a proper answer. But i'd say the B4 has a higher top end, I stand too be corrected but its what i think. :thumbsup:
 
Two very different cars-power delivery is way different in them. I owned an evo 6 for a year and i prefer the legacys power delivery-plus evos wear out drop links and top mounts quickly-links 40 each and top mounts 250 a pair,genuine plugs about 90 a set,lash adjusters tend to need doing around 60000miles,only two places in ireland can do yaw control service properly(not cheap) and insurance is outrageous.

Had a,how can i say "spirited drive" against an evo 5 and off the line it had me but from a rolling start at bout 50kmh i had him beaten :dance:
