I drove around Dublin Airport for 90 mins at midday today to see if i could find it, but had no joy, went on every road within the Airport Area

Hi lads

Nothing on the car as yet as far as I know, Only back from checking the long term car parks around the airport, Spoke to the security guys there and nothing, I was stopped by the garda at a tax checkpoint and they heard or seen nothing. I was around the coaches road were the car was supposed to be seen and nothing. Hopefully though it will turn up, This is on other forums, Octane and Vagdrivers along with a few other forums so there are plenty of people aware of the car.

Lads just been speaking to a mate here in work, A friend of his just imported an Evo X, only had it home and it was stolen that night, The guy is so gutted. This can't be just random, Someone from the importer or a the Warf/Docks/VRT offices have to be tipping these guys off with peoples addresses, far to quick for a car like this to be stolen so quickly. I hate putting up a post like this, cause if your like me you don't really sleep for the next couple of nights. I really hope he gets the car back, doubt it though, the thin blue line don't seem pushed on following it up,

"Please help - My brand new 36 hour old EVO X was stolen on Saturday night / Sunday morning from Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow when staying with my family for the weekend on our way home to Cork. We only picked up the car at 5pm ish on Friday and it was gone 36 hours later - any chance you might keep an eye out or any suggestions? My husband is devastated - it seems a professional job - broke into the house, took keys and of our other vehicle that was blocking it in and moved that vehicle and disabled it before rolling the EVO out.........""

OK so thats the wifes account of it from driver.ie.... how do make out people in the vrt office are tipping people off when hes from cork and was staying in wicklow?

Oppertune target lads. It doesn't take long to plan a brake into a house for the keys. I'd say it was Professionals alright but just the wrong place at the wrong time. Saw the car a few quick phone calls and their there and it's gone.

Unfortunate that it happened. Fuckers should be shot.

It's hidden away some where and I'd say theres a container some where with it's name on it.

I won't say you'll see it again.

Show's how important it is to Alarm these things the minute you get them.

I fell it for the owner.

that is beautiful lookin its such a shame cant imagine how he feels its sickenin to know that u really cant have anythin these days i really hope this turns up

but an alarm is no good on the car if they get in the house and get the keys....

fookers......
obviously they dont come like the scoobies with a registered tracker.would seriously help now until it gets to a container...
like eric i dont youll see that car again..

My guess is they were followed to Wicklow. Its was Friday 1700 and the roads south on the N11 would have been packed. You wouldn't have noticed someone following you. They more than likley watched the house for 24hrs to see how many people were there and took a chance and got away with it.

Terrible news :(

yeah i agree anton was just making the point its a bit rash to start insinuating someone is tipping people off especially when it wasn't stolen at his address..I know a lad who used to do this buy a car of the gippos drive around till they seen something nice follow it..break into the house and take the keys..they told me they were so determined to get a black shappire cosworth they went back to meath from dublin 5 times until they got it right never attempted it until it was the right moment..little cnuts if they are determined they'll catch you of guard eventually

on the last night meet it was me telling you
about the evo an leg b4 that was stolen from the same garden,

they used his own tow truck to ram the gate,

so yeah thats 2 evos that were stolen in 1 week,

thats scarey stuff...

seen a white one today going by donaghmede shopping centre with no regs on it :ponder: :dunno:

was oing the opposite side thats how i got a look at it

just maybe the one
