For a classic, taken out when fitting 6sd, not that old, had slipped a bit due to too much torque around 430ftlbs, but not often, maybe 3 times,if you took off bad, i reckon it be worth a try and cant see it giving any trouble in a car of lesser power, could always just get a new clutch plate if you were afraid.

clutch and flywheel ye, is the fly wheel ok any cracks or scortch marks?, where are you located migth get a look 2moro if your not to far away
