Exiga GT Fault code

B4SDK

Hey guys, its been a while. Havent posted since I sold my Legacy a few years ago. Now I have a 2012 Exiga GT (2.0T EJ) I got a few months ago.
It got an engine light the other day due to fault codes P2432 and P2444 (secondary air injection system). The engine light turns off ALL assists including stability control which is causing it to fail NCT.
My main question is: is the SAI actually needed/good to keep? or should I disable it in the ECU? (Have read that people even remove and bypass this system).
Second question is: I was researching how to do it myself with RomRaider/Tactrix Open Port 2.0 But I cant seem to find the Tactrix cable in stock anywhere online?

Thanks in advance
Sean

Tactrix cables aren't being made anymore so they are hard to find, and if you find one it'll cost as much as bringing the car to someone to get the code deleted.

It's just emissions related to basically inject fresh air on a cold start into the exhaust to help the cat heat up so it passes emissions

in saying that, it'll still pass NCT. It's literally just 30 seconds or so on a cold start is when the pump runs and the valves open

As above remap it out or replace the valves/pump..
I got lucky with mine on the legacy wagon, swapped out the plates that sit over the valves from a set of valves I got off barry..

if its a turbo you can clear them out off the ecu , you can get knock off cables online, at youre own peril but sure if you create a backup cant really see what would go wrong as its only fault codes youre changing

The engine light has turned off all assists on the car including stability control. That's why its failing NCT. I brought it to a guy on Friday and he said he couldnt fix it cos ECU was 'locked'. Anyone know someone who could do it? @Baz the fault is specifically for the pressure sensor in the assembly. Is the pump/housing/sensor all together?

Nearly sure that barometric pressure sensor is in the valve on the passenger side ,
I sold the both valves to Johnny T sorry dude

AP performance would be able to do it, the locked ECUs have to be done on a bench.
My non turbo Hawkeye was the same and he said he would be able to when I asked a few years ago.

he unlocked an ecu for me that was still in the car (standard stI Prodrive)
some of the standard ECUs that are in Subarus besides WRX and STIs are unsupported by most tools that mappers use so they say they are locked, that's why it has to be taken out and done on the desk to memory directly rather than through OBD
