:ponder:

Well coming from another b4 car and track dyas included I think it will be toyo T1R's
They are a bit scrubbed on the front side walla because I basically was crap on the track for my first day but they stood up very well on the second day when I was a bit smoother and not as hard on them... You won't be disappointed performance wise anyway... never let me down wet or dry

Is there anyway a place can put on the rubber onto the alloys without wrecking the paint?

I just re-sprayed mine and from previous experience on the dc2 it just whips the paid right off when going around on the machine :boohoo: And then have to re-do them all over again :new_argue:
just get a place thats reputable to fit the tyres....
if they are damaging rims fitted tyres...they are obviously shite tyre fitters

@ Robbie..cheers for that mate

@Mark..Yeah, Is that place in celbridge good I read a while ago? I think I will need new rubber in the next month or 2 :icon_surprised:

the 2 full sets of tyres so far i've run is bridgestone potenza's, best i've had, and now toyo t1-r, not fully as grippy but still excellent.

Michellin ps2 best tyre for subaru not cheap but put most to shame http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Michelin/Pilot-Sport-PS2.htm
I have 4 new Micheline PS2 on my car. Excellent tyre but useless below 5c as they have so little silica in the compound and the thread pattern is so aggressively biased towards fast road performance. The awd system in the Impreza finds more than enough grip so there is no point blowing so much money on PS2's as they are unbelievable expensive (and usually they are a special order). Unless you are fitting them to something genuinely exotic there's just no point. Goodyear Eagle F1, Bridgestons RE050A and Toyo Proxies T1R are the ones to go for. Anything more expensive is just a waste of your hard earned cash.
Frawls

Had fk452's on the B4 and after they bedded in I couldn't fault them, tended to tram-line a bit but other than that I'd recommend them

Had them on my classic, great all rounder and survived 74 laps of the ring over a year period.

I had Vreidesteins fitted on the Bug but after 2000 miles they were trashed due to my old Geo settings. Now running on T1R,s and seem to be ok but not got brave in the wet with them yet.
