Middle Lane Hogs
Been 9 or 10 weeks sense my 95 rs got written off, gave up the search on a gen 1 legacy and just said i want a bit of comfort and something i wont have to worry about rust with, looked at several legacys ranging from 99 to 02 but nothing really stood out that was in budget and didn't need any work, went up to dublin sunday morning to see this, the lad who had it worked in a fast fit place and threw it up on a lift for me, its totally standard which is what kinda sold it to me, only thing not working is the radio, (cd works tho) bit busy this week so may not get a chance to spit and polish it, and tho only thing i really want to do is paint/powdercoat the wheels black. Big thanks to all the lads who gave advice throughout my search.

That is nice, the very best of luck with it

I like colour of the wheels as they are, black on black is too much I think sometimes..

Sweet. Nice one. I'm with sweetcakes on the wheel colour too. But sure eachto their own. All the best with it

denis, go with it, maybe not plain black but with red lip, it'll set of the car.

edit: thinking of doing mine this weekend... :subaru:

If it still has Jap radio then yes it won't work. They use different frequencies over there.

Best of luck with it

Thanks lads, loving the comfort and the fuel economy compared to the rs is unreal!!! Hopefully put my own stamp on it in the next fue weeks, just so happy to have a car again ,

Hi mynameismud, I'm looking to buy a B4 as well, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it, what kind of mileage, service history? Just so I can judge other cars out there. Lovely car, wish I'd seen it first :)
Cheers

Hey jasper, I don't mind you asking at all man, i paid €3400 for it i has 144,000km on it, the timing belt was done @ 110,000 and it has just had a clutch fitted, as well as 4 recent tires, it passed the nct in july, basically i wanted an original car with no mods but that i would not need to spent alot of money on it, something ready for road , I'll do a couple of things to it but nothing major. Got to look at the car on a ramp too so really got to see the state of the expensive stuff underneath  Good luck with the hunt.
