airbourne for about 17 seconds,

maybe it felt like 17 seconds but more like 1.7 seconds. I doubt you were in the air for that long.

not bad at all man, subaru's are well renowned for landin well, but what ya were doin in the air for 17 sec. is just beyond me.maybe it should read 250.anyways not bad for the first time.IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN  :p

no siht 17 seconds, or it could have been even 22 , no siht , i swear,

You just broke a world record man. Ken Brock jumped 171 feet in his Subaru and it only took him just under 4 seconds, you must have jumped over 700 feet!!! Congrats and well done.

17 seconds! - has it got wings stickin' out both sides, as well as one on the back? (The first powered flight, by the Wright brothers in 1903, was 5 seconds shorter...)

You remind me that I took off myself a few weeks ago (though not for the first time in 30-odd years' driving ;)) coming over a humpback bridge in Co. Tipp., only to discover in mid-air that there was a sharp right immediately after it (which there had been no warning sign for) and I thought I'd had it for a moment. Was I glad of Subaru's AWD when the car landed; it managed to find a grip only a split-second afterwards and we sailed round the bend, phew!

50kph for 17 seconds....you travelled BY AIR 206meters or 675feet in your scooby.

(somebody check my maths :D

Mental note to self. If mac mac or greenwagon ever ask to borrow car say NO!

Don't worry, I've never "bent" a Scoobie!

(In fact never so much as dented one - touch wood.)

By the way, when later I came back the other way there was a warning sign on that side of the bridge (where it is much less needed) so presumably the more necessary one had "gone missing in action". It's on the road between Ballina & Birdhill.
