Well after searching the net for a guide of fitting a front mount I did not come across one decent one.
So I thought I would take as much pictures while doing mine to have one for here.
This a front mount getting fitted to my v3 Impreza.
Before pictures
Start by removing the following:
Grill(pops out after releasing clips through the two holes on top)
Sidelights(one screw on top of headlights)
Headlights(two screws behind sidelight and two behind grill)
Fog lights and indicators(three bolts around fog lamps)
Remove the connections from all lights.
Removing the front bumper:
Plastic and screw on bumper bar
Two torgue screws to be removed
Through wheel arch remove bolt
Under the car there are a few bolts needing removing also, which I forgot to get picture of.
This is what you should be left with.
Then its onto taken out the air bottle in the drivers arch.
Remove two bolts in engine bay first.
Then one in the arch itself. It should just pull out the through the arch.
Cut across the two holes in the engine bay were the air reservour was in engine bay.
This will give the room the pipework needs.
Time to fit the front mount to the bumper bar.
Mearure from hole to hole on the front mount and then mark it from the middle of the bumper bar.
Drill holes and attach bolts and washers to front mount and it.
To give room for pipe work on both sides either cut or bend the metal out of place.
