Only the second time since i got my 05 impreza 1.6 that ive had to nct it. Nct is up in may but i said i put it through early and i realy thought it would fail having a very loud but lovely sounding exhaust on her. 15 mins after putting it in she was all tested and passed. My car was the 6th car to go through while i was there and the only one to pass. Serious money passing over the counter in there. Plus i also noticed that there is a price List stating that a re-test costs €22 but 2 people in after me got charged €28 and one of them only failed on a dim bulb previosly. Anyway im a happy man have the car almost 4 years and never an ounce of trouble. Youve gotta love the scoobys :subaru: :subaru:

I thought a dim bulb would fall under a visual re-test? From what I remember you don't have to pay to have a visual done if you've to come back. The likes of changing a tyre or a bulb etc fall under visuals don't they?
 
Yea kanye still as clean as when you had it you would of been proud of her today absolutely gleaming just changed the timing belt and tyres and its goin like a dream.
 
I've yet to know what it feels like to pass an NCT first time :angry1:

Statistically every second car tested, fails. They are making a fortune.

Thats true. Heard my dump valve constantly going off from outside in the car park. No need for it.

Launch control Engine protection system with a rev limit of only as much as they need for the emissions test stums that out. :whistle:
 
I thought the same because of my exhaust and he was gona test it until i shouted in at him from the yard sayin thats how it came out of the factory so think i got him a bit flustered so he didnt bother checking it plus i was watching every single thing he was at and i think thats why he was so quick doing it just to get rid of me

Ye i think if they think they can screw you they will but if you are gonna cause a bit of a racket they wanna be rid of ya :evil:
