looking for hks actuator{or equivelent}-boost gauge-turbo timer-dump valve +itg panel filter for my sf5. to start with. also in a month or so 17" alloys+sports exaust{when i save more money !!!! } if anyone on this site can hook me up or has second hand parts pm me. thanks in advance ,dave {soon to be full member} :subaru:
 
I have a full Hayward & Scott exhaust system from my 2002 Forester. Down pipe, centre section and 3" back box(no cats).
 
No problem, you had better check that the 2002 fits your car, I'm sure it does but it would be better if you checked.
 
1997-2002 models all the same{as far as i know}. have you any pics of system? how long have you got it? did you have to change any hangers+brackets or is it for a forester? nct soon+hope to be able to swap back to original for nct. cheers, dave.
 
It is made specifically for the Forester so no messing trying to fit it. I have some pics but I am on holidays tomorrow so I will post them when I get back.
 
Hi Dave,

Iwould hold off on any aftermarket acuator for a subaru for the moment. And also Turbo Timer as no need for them.

Use these funds for 4pot upgrade instead..


Also jump at Scruffs Full Exhaust.. Great system and will fit yours no problem... :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
good man dave- just looking for a few extra horses- feel free to offer any advice you have.definately buying exaust.got a free hks turbo timer{person i bought forester from removed it,now returning it}. thinking of 17" alloys{bronze or gold} and lowering springs.very soft as standard,just want it a bit more solid.{cant afford coilovers yet!!!}.going to save+upgrade slowly but surely. advice allways wellcome. your namesake dave byrne :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:

I defo think gold is best combo imo on black sf5 st/b foresters. The 01-05 factory new age gold sti wheels also look great as a budget upgrade just to get looks going and can be found at good money. Ones picyured look like Rota GRA in 17's.

:clap: :clap: :clap: thanks fot the advice boys- exaust system a definate then.will leave actuator alone .next search- 17"gold alloys. should have her looking good pretty soon then.any advice on dump valves+itg panel filters. ive been offered double trumpet bov-came from classic wrx.{cheap money} ???????
 
BOV is a waste of money and will not give you any extra horses. You only need one if you are going for huuuuge power.

set 17inch gold speedline turinis. Can take lend them for week see if you like the look of them............ :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
