i got back my evo a good few years back they broke the front grill lifted the bonnet and
took the alarm siren off but tripped the immobiliser .car was found 100 yards up the road where they pushed it to but couldnt start it
garage that fixed the alarm said they must of been cowboys if they new what they were doing
they would of got it started.
hope you get yours back

really sorry to hear that! had exaclty the same situation with my civic before, but i did not have alarm on it. So a bit different story.

I know how you feel about the insurance, I only got back something like 1.5k for 98 1.3l civic, but the extras were worth something like more than 4k (was building it for shows).

will keep an eye in city centre location.
