Brilliant news, really glad the little fcuk was caught. How did he drive it with no steering wheel? I presume the guards meant that the plastic cowling around the steering column was taken off.
 
@Scruff - that's what I thought - the plastic housing - nope - the actual effing steering wheel - apparently he was driving it using two vice-grips - like bicycle handle bars...
Would love to know how the stop went - garda approaces car, scumb@g :new_2gunsfiring_v1: lets down window with hands on vice grips - "Is there a problem officer".... :ponder2:

i had a vauxhaul calibra a good few years back and some scumbags tried to take it
when they tried to break the steering lock the whole wheel came off and they couldnt take it

delighted ya got it back...cant have nothin 4 the little scumbags take it on ya!

mate of mine was livin in finglas 4 a while and a few lads pulled out the drivers window of his civic...got into the car and had it wired and started before they realised he had a snap off steerin wheel and was in the house!! he has it on video...very funny!

I have a spare steering colum out of an impreza.... dont know if it fits the foz but if it does ur welcome to it...........
I got it from Froggy when scum tried to rob my car!!!!
still has the ignition barrel etc on it.....
I can bring it down to sandtford if it helps
 
Result and i hope the little filth got them vice grips across the nut. :hammerhead: Can think of another place he should be strung up by them!! :angry1: Chuffed for ye man. Id defo rather the small bit of damage than seeing it wrote off. All the best. :subaru:

Hammie - might take you up on that after I get to see the car - Guards didn't get to it today so I don't get to it till after them...
Spoke to another Guard involved in the case today and he said the got 2 lads so hopefully saved someone else's car as well!!! :icon_pidu:
