Front brakes

Hi
Need to borrow or cheap buy some brakes, mines need to be refurbished as one of them is sticky, so need something on which will be able to drive for a while (want to do proper job on mines myself)
What is around? Anyone willing to lend brakes (pads and discs?) for a few weeks? Long shot but worth trying.
I will stop questions now, no, not going to upgrade to 4pots or brembos as no point on my car, want to keep it as close as possible to original state).

Would you not refurb them over a weekend

Possibly you are right Keith, but problem is that car is in move on weekends. Wife working shifts and don't remember when we had full 2 days of a weekend together. Want one day swap brakes and then over few evenings refurb them.

Rent car for weekend, send your calipers to someone/somewhere that do a swap old for new system. It'll save hassle of brakes off, loan brakes on, loan brakes off, your brakes back on.

I don't mind doing it few times, on and off. Not planning to change system to new one permanently as I have no need to upgrade them. Need to refurb mines, seals and new Pistons as they are sticky a bit.
Plus, I want to learn how to do such stuff, bit of DIY if you know what I mean.

I get you. You'll have work cut out to keep the car going over the time you're refurbing. You'll be off/on/off/on and a couple of bleeds but definitely good experience.

TBH it doesn't take that long to refurb them once you've everything prepared.

Not afraid of doing it myself, more fact of time. When wife is at home, I am at work and other way around. We had weekend together last week, I spent it at hospital, after was released, had no power to even attempt such kind of job.
Another thing, I am virgin at it so want to take it easy and not to rush it, so better to have few days of extra time then rush it and make mistake.
Ps: have some experience with flushing whole brake system so that part I am not afraid off :)
