front mount intercooler

thinking of installing 1 so looking for opinions please. i think it looks neat and stock and the bumper ls not cut to bits and looks factory if it was painted black .

As above would look great and would make a good difference in cooling as the old inter cooler are very small

that's the problem lads i'm getting no cooling with the legacy scoop as it was only meant for cooling the turbo, and a higher scoop would look stupid on it so thinking front mount or else go with the charge cooler as standard

Have a look at leoquig's one.
He has his legacy done.he had to cut a good bit out of it and then the Nct failed it on
a structural issue!

So be careful if your going cutting!

that's the thing graham if it doesn't fit without cutting structural parts of the car or the bumper i wont do it.i have a hdi gt2 intercooler like above so tempted

just depends on the tester could meet the wrong one and its dangerous and a fail

im sure you use an alloy plate that extends off the bottom of intercooler to cover where was cut and they wont see anything anyway makes no difference in an 80km smack
