Fuelly! whats your mpg?

I know mpg is not important on here but the question does pop up now and again by people hoping to get into a scoobie for the first time or to change from 1.6 to 2.0 to wrx etc etc. Anyway I came across this website FUELLY on another forum and i started using it lately, great if like me and you are into nerdy stats, you can share your information easily with others (see my signature) BTW I don't own a scooby at the mo :icon_cry:

your a little bit consumed by the MPG figures Anto . :cuckoo:

i wouldnt even attempt to track the scooby's mpg purely because its so bad , bad enough after the car tax crept ever nearer the 1k mark :wall:

Sorry to break it to you Tommy but the tax will be €1005 in the new year

lovely , , , only tax it for 6 months a year anyway so i'll survive . thank fook i have the transporter back .

For the last three €50 visit to the pumps , I've been getting about 185km's . But that is nearly all town 5-10 min spinning into town. Would get over 400 on a full tank / long drive

Good site!
This is what I got :

Anytime I calculate My fuel consumption I ask Myself " Do I need this?" than I drive it for couple of miles and ask : " How could I stay alive without this?"

:ponder2: my MPG is ~25 too... and its simple 2.0 AT Forester :] I would like to have STi Forester in this situation if MPG is same :ponder:

Little OT:
For Android users. Go to Market and get "aCar" application. Perfect for your car maintenance/mpg/costs/parts and etc. Especially if you have more than one car.

Been keeping track of mine lately 96 sti type ra I get a consistant 23-24mpg which i think is pretty good given my short gearing, best i have achieved on a long run is 26.2 and worst was a combined of 11mpg, i have accepted long ago the running costs just nice to see what exactly it is doing and seeing what sort of consistency their is to my driving style.

I also dip mine twice a week out of habit and i notice it uses about a half litre of oil between services (try to keep a 4000km interval), but this seems to have been the case with all my old Subaru's and with a rebuild less than 13 thousand km's ago it wouldn't bother me in the slightest..
