Taking the car off the road this year lads and she will be track car only. I was thinking about going the full WRC decal route with the car since it wont be on the road anyway.

Anybody know where I can get a top quality WRC replica decal set? I know there is eBay but you just don't know what you're getting there.

Examples of what I'm going for....

I wouldn't do it Andy, it will cheapen the look of your lovely motor

To be honest it was to distract attention away from the poor paint work hahaha

Why would you worry about your paint work on a Track car??,
I wouldnt do it Andy, you will look like a young lad with a 1.6 coverd in stickers :)

i think it would look great johnny's car looks savage with them  is there anywhere else that do them

I'm fussy
I guess the money could be better spent on a full paint correction detail.

i think if done right it would look well , young lads would be more likely to go the cheap ebay route and have a cheap look about it (possibly) . and its also considered a chav thing to do . but as above i think duffman example has pulled it off well and looks better with rather thean without .

i reckon look for somebody else who has done it to a nonwrc car and see if it can be pulled off :dontknow:

Duffmans car looks great but his decals have not been badly replicated on tatty 1.6 Subaru's throughout the years! But the ones that go on Andy's more modern classic have!

My own graphics are the cheap eBay ones but I think my car looks good because of the all round look, with the wing mirrors, wheels, interior, etc.

You have to go the hole hog to pull it off.

If yours was a wide arch, like the 22b, I would say go for it andy but it's not and I think it looks great now, get it detailed and it will be awesome .

As Johnny said... It's needs to be a full wide arch car to look right Andy. Johnny's looks well coz it is near identical to the real McCoy. Whereas the decals on the above cars are synonymous with the wide arch WRC cars and will look out of place on a standard type r... And are bit to boy racer.. Excuse the expression!!

+1
Wide arches a must to pull the look off right :subaru:

Thanks for the comments lads. Think I'll leave it as it is.

for me the look of a flat blue type-r is the only way to go, i think the stickers would'nt look well on it. i only seen one on the road before with stickers and it looked horrible(botch job) but to each his own if you like the look of it you should do it
