Is colin your mate?? Sounds like a good chap!
He's building a type r isn't he? My engine is the US spec impreza sti engine which has a slightly higher compression ratio than the UK spec 2.5 so spools the turbo sooner and has better responsiveness so it would suit the type r's short gear ratios!

My engine is sold! I got €1200 for her!
The chap who bought her is european machanic of the year '08 and I told him to check out the youtube clips of her track time and I told him about every little problem I've ever had and he's happy out!
It's going ion to a V5 Type r (same colour as mick spec c's Type r)
Davelegacy will be taking my car in now shortly!
